News Flash: Phreaze to perform at NZ Hip Hop Summit
An event proudly supported by World Hip Hop Royalty & Pioneers such as Biz Markie, will see local and off-shore NZ Hip Hop Artists (including Urban Prophetz own First Lady, Phreaze) perform a set at the NZ Hip Hop Summit 2011! Other performances & discussion panel Artists include the likes of SCRIBE, SAVAGE and more! There will also be tonnes of Hip Hop Workshops, Competitions and opportunities for all! People say this all the time when promoting events, but this is definitely one not to miss! Not only is it recognising the history, it will MAKE history in the process and with only a Gold Coin as an entry fee, you have no excuse not to be there!

'Together We Stand' Benefit Concert for Logan Fire Victims
By now you would have heard of the terrible tragedy that has occurred in Kingston/Slacks Creek (QLD) recently, resulting in a devastating loss of life in our community. A number of organisations and individuals have united to host a huge fundraising effort in support of the LALE, MATAUAINA & TAUFA families affected by the Fire. This event will see a MASSIVE 7 Hours of Local and International Entertainers perform at Brisbane's Inner City Queen Street Mall. Urban Prophetz (including Phreaze) will be performing a set in support of the event, while organisers will be accepting donations throughout the event on behalf of the families to be presented shortly after. 2007 Music Video with BYSA Boys!!
During Phreaze's work at Blacktown Youth Services, she developed a small music project, where local year 8/9/10 students were introduced to basic audio engineering skills, songwriting/lyricism, music business, performance techniques, beatboxing, krump, bboying and more! Every now and then, they managed to find the funding to also create a music video with some of these groups. This particular track was composed, written and recorded by the local young men featured in the video with a 3rd verse feature by Phreaze herself (written and recorded within 45 minutes we might add)! A massive first effort by the young men involved so if you enjoy the song and ever see them in your local hood, make sure you let them know it!

Phreaze here - So if you've been keeping track of the new blog and updates, you'll notice that I'll be dropping a new Album in the comming months, and I'm having a bit of trouble comming up with a name for it so I'm reaching out to the fans for help!!

Some of the tracks on this Album were completed awhile ago and I've just never gotten around to releasing them publicly - so there really is just a mixture of topics, hence my dilemma! All of my verses however are Phreaze-style and speak from life experiences, so hopefully after listening to the songs, you'll have a pretty good idea about who I am and can come up with something that represents me well!

New Funky Official Phreaze Website/Blog - Subscribe Now!

After years of having to update numerous pages whenever anything changes in the Phreaze camp, we've finally moved with the times, and converted the main Phreaze Website to a Blog!Wohoo!
If you've never used Blogs before, you're probably thinking.. "yeah, so?", well the major change for you is that now the website is not just an awesome place to get up-to-date information about Phreaze, but it's now also INTERACTIVE! You can do a heap of things on this site including:
- REPLY/COMMENT on any of the blog posts/news items (you can even attach stuff to the replies!)
- Easily SHARE the blog posts/news items automatically through your Facebook, Twitter and more!
- RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS everytime the Blog is updated
plus HEAPS MORE!
All Phreaze sites including MySpace, Facebook, Twitter etc etc etc will now run through this Blog/Site! What does this mean for you? Phreaze 2011 Album
Hey peeps, Phreaze here!
I'm finally getting around to finalising all of those tracks that have been sitting in the vault for a few years! On top of that, I'm also working on some brand spanking new bangers as well, featuring some of your favourite NZ and OZ Artists! "NO PLACE LIKE HOME" BY URBAN PROPHETZ FT SWIZZ DA HORI VIEWS HIT OVER 1500 WITHIN 10 DAYS ON YOUTUBE!
The "No Place Like Home" video is already being dubbed as one of the most "honest" and "hearty" visual depictions of a New Zealand Hip Hop Crew. Producers Rudge Hollis & Roxie Vuong capture the "heart" of New Zealand, and New Zealand Hip Hop, presenting a video that ultimately tugs at the... heartstrings of the many New Zealanders now living abroad.

After being nominated as Female Artist of the Year for Star Central Magazine, and comming in runner-up, Phreaze was offered a spot on the magazine's 2011 Hotlist!

Urban Prophetz Attempt Reggae Remixes to "Call of Duty" Album Tracks!!
So Phreaze and the rest of the Urban Prophetz were asked to support the Reggae outfit "Sons of Zion" at their Brisbane Performance earlier this year (2011), and decided to have a crack at Reggae remixes of some of the Call of Duty tracks! Tracks include: No Place Like Home, All for You, Lights Go Out. Enjoy!
